DMSi Introduces Report Utility to Submit Credit Information
DMSi, Blue Book Services, and NAWLA Jointly Encourage Utility’s Use

Omaha, NE - DMSi Software, the building product industry’s leading software and technology solution, has developed an interface enabling Agility users to quickly and securely share certain credit and marketing information with Blue Book Services.  “Given the current marketing conditions, DMSi customers urgently need reliable, industry specific credit information,” explains Jim Hassenstab, DMSi CEO. “Agility customers who become Blue Book Members will be able to assess the financial stability of their prospective customers in an instant. This helps them keep their business healthy and supports DMSi’s mission to increase our customer’s bottom line profitability.”

Now serving the lumber and building material industry, Blue Book Services has been the leading provider of credit and marketing information to the fresh produce industry since 1901. “DMSi’s creation of this interface allows DMSi customers to quickly and safely create an electronic file in the preferred format to streamline its import into the Blue Book database,” says Mark Erickson, Blue Book Services’ Technology VP.  Not only does this save DMSi customers valuable time, the Agility interface provides the important data necessary to help industry credit extenders make safe and profitable business decisions using Blue Book’s Online Services (BBOS).

"While the accounts receivable aging data will be available to Blue Book Members through Credit Profiles, the source of the data will be completely confidential,” confirmed Erickson. This insures the provider of the data will remain anonymous.

NAWLA’s executive director & interim CEO, Mark Palmer, explains, “We are very pleased DMSi and Blue Book Services are working together to help serve our members and the industry at large in this way.”  Having led the search for a new industry-specific credit information source, NAWLA is actively supporting Blue Book Services planned summer, 2009 service introduction. Palmer continued, “We are now encouraging NAWLA Members using DMSi to actively participate by submitting their data to Blue Book Services as soon as possible.”

Agility users needing guidance on how to run the report may contact DMSi’s support team at 800.347.6720. Lumber businesses wanting to know more about the data’s use at Blue Book Services or how to transmit the electronic file to Blue Book may contact Mark Erickson or Kathi Orlowski at 630.668.3500.
