DMSi’s Announces 25 New Agility Customers in 2010

Omaha, NE –In 2010, 25 companies chose DMSi’s Agility Software to help run their businesses better.

“As a company, DMSi is relentless in our daily drive to deliver unparallel technology, software, and service to customers,” states Cal German, DMSi Software president. “These customers are some of the best minds in the building products industry and Agility is a product of their constant input into what we can do to help them run better. The success of Agility reflects the success of our customers.”

DMSi is approaching 400 customers, nearly 300 of which run on the Windows-based Agility platform. Over 3,200 end users are operating Agility through the Internet using cloud computing services provided by DMSi from two geographically separated, SAS70 certified, Tier I NaviSite data centers.

Today’s business owners are faced with fast changing technology and increasingly complex hardware, software, communication, and network infrastructures. Software as a Service (SaaS) and cloud computing deliver strategic advantage, simplicity, and a lower all-in cost. Although running Agility via on-premise servers remains an option, over 90% of new customers choose cloud computing because of its many compelling benefits.

Some of DMSi’s new customers include: Gilfoy Distributing Company (building materials); Rochester Lumber (contractor yard/pro dealer); RM Supply, J&B Materials and MGM Supply (drywall); Distributor Services Inc. (laminates); Decorative Trim Unlimited (millwork); Cushman Lumber (lumber wholesaler); Centre Lumber & Plywood (plywood); and Arc Wholesale, RCI Roofing Supply Company Inc. and Roofers Mart (roofing/siding).

The following companies have either completed or begun the process of converting to Agility: Dennis Supply (HVAC); Building Products, Inc., Material Distributors, Inc. and Kohl Building Products (building materials); Williams Distributing Co. (contractor yard/pro dealer); Wholesale Millwork (hardwood lumber); Escue Wood Preserving (lumber treater); Capital Lumber, Sprenger Midwest, Warren Trask and Weekes Forest Products (lumber wholesaler); Warren Window & Supply (millwork); and Roofing & Insulation Supply (roofing/siding).
