DMSi Offers New Interface to Import and Export Shipping Service Information
DMSi Software is now offering a new interface in Agility to support exchanging sales order information and tracking information with UPS and FedEx shipping services. This enhancement saves time by automating the transfer of data between Agility and your shipping service.
The Shipping Service Interface includes an export program and an import program. The export program allows you to export the sales order number, customer, and customer address to UPS or FedEx. The import program allows you to import a fixed formatted text file from UPS or FedEx and save the tracking number, ship date, shipping service charge/cost to the matching sales order. You can print the tracking number and ship date received from the shipping service on the invoice form.
