DMSi Software Announces New Agility Customers
Omaha, NE –In 2009, DMSi Software increased its momentum with 26 companies selecting Agility. “Agility is the culmination of vast input from the best minds in the building products industry,” says Cal German, DMSi Software President. “It’s exciting new technology that clearly fits our customers and improves their daily lives and profitability.”
This brings DMSi’s total customer count to 363, with 224 on the windows-based Agility platform. Over 3,200 end users are operating Agility SaaS (Software as a Service) using internet cloud computing services provided by DMSi’s using two geographically separated SAS70 certified NaviSite data centers. As business owners are pressured to stay up to date with fast changing technology and increasingly complex hardware, software, communication, and network infrastructures, more companies are selecting the Agility SaaS (Software as a Service) hosted/cloud computing option. SaaS users have eliminated on-site servers by using their internet connection to access Agility’s complete Microsoft® window based accounting system at secure Tier I data centers. Although hosting Agility is an ‘option’ (you can still opt for on-premise equipment), it is now selected 90% of the time by new customers due to its many compelling benefits.
In addition to 15 new Agility customers, 11 conversions were made from legacy DMSi software products to Agility.
Some of DMSi’s new partnerships include: Building Materials- United Plywoods & Lumber; Drywall Distributors- Allsteel & Gypsum Products, Ryan Building Materials, and Wholesale Builders Supply; Hardwood Lumber Distributor- Babcock Lumber Company; Laminate Distributor- Plunkett Distributing Company; Masonry - Centurion Stone of Iowa; Millwork Distributor- Schwieters Companies; Pro Dealers/Lumberyards- Dennison Building & Supply, Hutchison Lumber, Shepley Wood Products, and Spring Lake Park Lumber; Roofing and Siding Distributors- American Wallzone Supply and H & S Building Material LP; and Truss Manufacturer- DFI Systems.
The following companies have either completed or begun the process of converting to Agility: Building Materials- Lumber Yard Supply Company, Lumber Products, OrePac Building Products, Richards Building Supply Company, Rocco Building Supplies, and Shelter Products; Laminates- Fabricators Unlimited and Minot Builders Supply; Millwork Distributors- Moehl Millwork; Pro Dealers/Lumberyards- Christensen Lumber, Inc.; and Wholesale Manufacturer- Middle Tennessee Lumber.
