Dave Lefler Promoted To Productivity Solutions Product Consultant
DMSi Software is pleased to announce the promotion of Dave Lefler to the position of Product Consultant with responsibility for certain Productivity Solutions. Dave joined DMSi in 2006 as an Implementation Analyst. He has also acted as the Drywall Line of Business (LOB) lead. Prior to working for DMSi, Lefler learned the warehouse processes as an operations manager.
In his new position, Lefler will be responsible for Agility Mobile, DMSi’s warehouse data collection system; RF Navigator, the warehouse management system from Majure Data Corporation; and DMSI’s interfaces to third party logistic applications, including Appian Logistics, DQ Technologies and Descartes Logistics. Additionally, he will continue his responsibilities as DMSI’s purchasing and inventory control specialist assisting our customers in bringing best practices to their companies.
As an Implementation Analyst, he was responsible for ensuring quality implementations for new customers and top notch support for existing customers. His new position as Productivity Solutions Product Consultant allows him to recommend tools to take customers to the next level. “I strive to educate our customers on both Agility and business related issues that will positively affect their bottom line,” says Lefler. “With productivity solutions, it’s my job to make sure each solution more than pays for itself with post-live benefits and efficiency gains.”
Lefler’s extensive background in Agility, warehousing, inventory and purchasing will help him provide the right productivity solution to supplement the Agility customer experience. “As an Agility installer and consultant, Dave consulted with a large number of companies regarding warehouse best practices and the historical yet cost efficient way of running a warehouse,” explains Pat Heffernan, Productivity Solutions & Services General Manager. “His vast experience will enable him to provide our customer base with a complete solution to their warehouse, shipping and logistic issues.”
A native of Orange County, California, Lefler received his Associates Degree in Business Administration from Fullerton College and completed the Texas A&M Industrial Distribution program.
