H & S Building Material Implements Agility Software in Record Time
Omaha, NE – Located in Houston, Texas, H & S Building Material implemented Agility software to effectively manage their roofing distribution business. Less than three weeks after purchasing the software, H & S Building Material was running live on Agility.
The after-effects of Hurricane Ike and the acquisition of additional business through internal resources created a boom for H & S Building Material. The growth prompted them to invest in a software system to manage their needs. “We were doing the same amount of volume in one month that we did all of last year,” explains Mike Budworth, H & S Building Material Vice President. “Our software couldn’t handle the dramatic sales increase that we experienced.”
H & S Building Material needed a new inventory management system fast. “I literally Googled ‘roofing distribution software’ and DMSi was at the top of the list,” says Budworth. “We visited several DMSi customers and received promising reviews from all of them.” Additionally, DMSi provided the inventory control and industry specific functionality H & S desired.
Another requirement for H & S Building Material was software installation in less than 45 days. “DMSi was the only company with the capabilities of making that happen,” adds Budworth. “They gave us the steps necessary to reach our goal and we followed them.” H & S used a DMSi recommended consultant to assist with data setup, procedures, and go live and complete dedication from the H & S Building Material management and staff.
