Lawrence Lumber Chooses Agility to be More Efficient
DMSi is proud to welcome new customer, Lawrence Lumber Company, Inc., a NHLA member out of Maiden, North Carolina. Lawrence Lumber is a hardwood concentration yard that brings in green poplar, oak and ash lumber, kiln dries it, and then preps it for domestic and international sale. The company has previously used two systems for inventory management and for keeping track of financials. With Agility, Lawrence Lumber will now have a comprehensive system that will manage both.
In addition to Agility’s comprehensiveness, Lawrence Lumber is looking forward to easier information access and overall efficiency. “With Agility, we will be able to give our salesman better information to help them concentrate on customers,” Lawrence Lumber’s System Manager, Kim Beam said. “Because we only need one system, we will also be more efficient in accounting and inventory.”
Lawrence Lumber chose Agility in the hosted platform, Software as a Service (SaaS). “Right now, we are paying a company to backup our software every night,” Beam described. “We chose SaaS because of the convenience it will bring.”
