Trimco Millwork Improves Production with Agility
Omaha, NE – A DMSi Software customer since 1991, Trimco Millwork recently decided to convert from DMS+ to Agility software. Headquartered in Meridian, Idaho, Trimco Millwork sells millwork, wood and manufactured moulding, exterior and interior slab, pre-hung doors, steel truss parts, and cabinets. In addition to their long-standing, positive relationship with DMSi, Trimco Millwork converted based on their need to upgrade an aging server.
Agility provides Trimco Millwork with a Windows environment and standardized procedures across their branches. With the conversion, they will begin using functionality in Agility that was available in DMS+, but they did not previously utilize. “By using Autoflow in Agility, we will reduce the amount of printed paper and improve production and shipping times,” says Leon Bruch, Trimco Millwork Controller. Autoflow is an inventory management tool that allows Agility to control the commitment and allocation of material. The result is greater efficiency and customer service by printing paperwork only when needed and streamlining the picking and delivery process.
Trimco Millwork’s positive relationship with DMSi led them to forgo researching other software systems and extend their partnership with DMSi. “DMS+ worked well for us for many years, but the timing was right to transition to Agility,” adds Bruch. “We are familiar with DMSi and confident in their ability to provide superior service and quality products.”
