Wholesale Builders Supply Uses Agility’s Industry Specific Features
In 2010, drywall distributor and Drake Group member, Wholesale Builders Supply, implemented Agility and now they have a sophisticated ERP system that gets the job done. Located in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, Wholesale Builders Supply chose Agility because of its industry-specific features. "Our old software really wasn't geared towards our business. It did its job, but we were really impressed when we saw what Agility could do and that it was geared toward our industry," Rick Darnley, purchasing manager for Wholesale Builders Supply said.
Wholesale Builders Supply has been using Agility since April of 2010, and since then, they have been able to improve customer service. “We tend to believe that we have the best service in the area anyway, but Agility only makes that better,” Darnley said. The company is also enjoying Agility’s user-friendly format. “The fact that information is real-time is great,” Darnley added. “I like receiving a P.O. and there are no reports to run. Everything is entered in. It definitely helps us in regards to customer service.”
Wholesale Builders Supply is also finding that using Agility helps their business run more efficiently. “The quote function and the whole dimensional item concept are features that I like using, but everything I seem to do with Agility makes my life easier. I really do like it.”
