DMSi’s EWP Line of Business Team Hosts Webinar on Cutting Functionality

On April 24, DMSi’s EWP Line of Business (LOB) team hosted a webinar, “EWP Cut Processing,” led by Jeff Pons, Norman Distribution System Manager. Available in Agility v3.1.0, EWP cut processing allows companies to set cut parameters to their specifications. Norman Distribution set their cutting logic to leave good saves with higher sales value; minimizing waste and providing accurate inventory of stock in the yard. “We decreased our inventory from $3.2 million in January to $2.4 million today; running leaner and establishing better buying patterns,” adds Pons. “In only four months using Agility’s cut processing, we have reduced our waste 52 percent.”

Thirty-two participants attended the free webinar for DMSi customers. Designed to communicate more effectively with engineered wood product customers, the DMSi EWP LOB team tailors its services to improve software knowledge, usage, and support.
