Various features within DMSi’s Agility software allow you to easily manage the distribution and fabrication of high pressure laminates and solid surface material. The same functionality allows you to accurately track and sell plywood, OSB, and other “sheet good” type products with various sizes and dimensions under one item code.
Laminate features available within Agility include:
- Price/Rebate Management simplifies set-up and maintenance, provides for accurate order costing and margin, and automates supplier rebate reporting and accounting-- saving valuable time, improving historical information, and delivering better customer service
- Single Item Code Set-up for all sheet sizes within a finish/gauge simplifies sales, purchasing, receiving, and item/price/rebate maintenance while delivering one-click visibility into inventory across branches and lots in any unit of measure (PC, FT, etc.)
- Automated Cut Formulations allow user defined preferences for system cut decisions yielding fewer cuts, less waste, and accurate size availability information for improved customer service
- EDI for Laminates covers all inbound and outbound transactions including receipt and processing of multi-PO skid information that simplifies the PO receiving and reconciliation process
- Stock or Special Order/Custom Cabinet/Countertop functions allow use of templates to create Sales Order lines that are tied directly to a shop work order to facilitate accurate material consumption, labor tracking, costing, and scheduling for improved productivity/profitability analysis and customer service
- Centralized Purchasing & Branch Transfer functions facilitate optimization of inventory across locations for improved asset performance
