Functionality Improvements for Millwork
In order to better serve the needs of the Millwork line of business, Agility recently improved CAFÉ filtering performance, added the ability to import work orders through sales order import, and pull in pricing multiplier from parent and apply it to all components. In order to apply the parent pricing multiplier, the price flag on the BOM Detail record should be set to “Follow Parent Pricing Rule”.
Agility Millwork Tip of the Month
If completing work orders where there is a large quantity of one door units and they are going on different carts, partial completions can be used to specify the location of the appropriate cart. For example, if there is a quantity of 15 of a particular completed unit and they are going on two different carts, a partial completion for 8 could be done to put on cart 1 and a partial completion for 7 could be done to put the rest on cart 2. This way, the appropriate location information would show on pick tickets.
