Traditionally, dispatchers have created routes in a manual process
using wall maps, white boards and a series of clipboards or trays to hold
orders. Today, routing and delivery tracking software dramatically refine
this process. DMSi has teamed with two leading routing companies, DQ
technologies and Appian Logistics, to integrate enhanced delivery and
routing capabilities into Agility's Dispatch Module.

For a Smooth Delivery |
 |
With Agility's new routing interface, Agility and your chosen routing
software share data seamlessly. As orders are created in Agility, they are
flagged for export to third party routing packages based on selected order
entry parameters. Flagged orders are then exported to the routing software
for calculating, optimizing and monitoring delivery routes. Changes on the
order, such as quantity adjustments, trigger an update for the routing
application. Once routes are determined, route, stop and truck assignments
are automatically imported back into Agility for viewing.
Depending on the specific needs of your company, select the most
compatible delivery routing package to fit your business scenario.

it is possible to add real-time location tracking using java and
GPS-enabled wireless devices. With this feature enabled, you can see the
exact location of a delivery vehicle or retrace vehicle movements to
determine delivery time, route verification, etc.
