Mobile Picking: the Agility Mobile Picking module
improves order fulfillment by allowing the warehouse personnel to scan or
key the correct product, location, and quantity at the time that they are
physically picking for reman and custom orders. Operating in real time
through wireless connectivity to Agility allows office staff to update
sales orders and generate pick files for the warehouse to work from. It
also updates storage locations and quantities in Agility. When picking is
done, delivery tickets can be immediately printed with the accurate
information without waiting for office staff to manually update the
orders.
Mobile Tag Verification: Product left sitting on the
shipping dock due to loader oversight is a costly problem. The Mobile Tag
Verification is a wireless real time method for shipping personnel to
confirm that they are accurately loading the correct tagged material onto
the truck, or that it is confirmed against the correct reman order.
Operators are notified real time if they scan the wrong product, or forget
to scan product that was picked for the order.
Mobile End Tally: The Mobile End Tally collection feature
allows you to create tags or bundles for hardwood-PC and hardwood-BF
lumber type items upon receiving or remanufacturing the material and
splitting/building tags for picking. You have the option to enter the
location/sub-location, lot and tally description prior to entering the
specific dimensions and building the contents of the tag. The information
is transferred in a single sequential text file containing the tag ID,
transaction ID, transaction type, item, thickness, location, lot, tally
description, quantity, width and length for each board.
Mobile Physical Inventory: Physical inventories and cycle
counting are time consuming enough without the issues associated with data
entry errors and illegible handwriting. Mobile Physical Inventory allows
users to collect inventory counts on the same handheld scanner used in
Mobile Picking and upload those counts directly into the work file in
Agility. Entering warehouse locations, item numbers and on-hand quantities
is fast, plus you save additional time and improve accuracy without
manually re-entering data.
Mobile Receiving: Now, in version 3.0.2, DMSi has taken
the abilities of Mobile Solutions a step farther with the release of
Mobile Receiving. This application allows users to scan vendors' barcoded
product, verify pre tagged units, and enter receipt quantities at the time
that they are being received. This saves additional time in the process,
as it completely skips the paperwork step is no longer turned in to be
later updated by an office person.
