In this issue we focus on DMSi's free online training site. Learn how you can easily set up access and define user-specific training so your employees get the most out of their training experience.


With DMSi Online Training...You're in Control!

As an Agility System Manager, you have the ability to set up and maintain user accounts for your employees to access the DMSi online training website. This site is available 24x7, free of charge, to help you and your employees learn about the Agility software features.

To maintain your user accounts, visit the DMSi customer support website, then select Training --> Training Administration.

From the Training Administration page, various functions are available including:

  • User defined accounts
    Define individual accounts or general accounts to manage user access along with timeframe the account should remain active. When a user's account has expired, simply uncheck the "Show only active users" option on the Agility Online Training Maintenance page to view all user accounts regardless of status, then extend the user account subscription from the user's profile page.
  • Control over segment access
    Define by account which segments are available for viewing as well as customize each account to the individual's needs.
  • Direct access to segments
    Each account is provided a unique logon directly from the DMSi website so users can view the segments at any time from any PC connected to the internet. Once defined, use the e-mail toolbar option to auto generate an e-mail to the user containing the logon instructions.
  • Master catalog
    Review a master list of all available training segments including which training module it belongs. This invaluable tool helps you decide which training modules to assign to users. The list includes length of segment and a short summary of each session to help you easily identify the desired segment to assign.
  • User activity logs
    Review the training segments accessed by a user account via the View Access Log Report option. From this tool you can either print the activity log or export the information to a spreadsheet.

Other features available within the online training site for users include access to the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) where you can learn to how to use key features of the online training site and troubleshooting problems. In addition, use the Training News menu option to easily view the latest training segments added or updated to the online training site.
