Agility SaaS Update Now Provided Quarterly

Omaha, NE – In order to inform customers on the changes of Agility SaaS (Software as a Service), DMSi Software will provide a quarterly update featuring information on its milestones, new equipment, uptime averages, and upcoming features. Since DMSi first pioneered this new business model back in 2001, Agility SaaS has become an increasingly popular means for connecting to DMSi's industry specific software. Only requiring an internet connection to an Application Service Provider (ASP) or hosted environment, this service simplifies technology, fixes IT costs, and frees resources to focus on core business initiatives.

Milestones
As of March of 2008, Agility SaaS hit the over 2,000 live users from over 80 different companies. This represents over a 40% growth from this time last year.  We continue to have users in many different time zones and multiple countries access our data centers and Agility SaaS to support their business processes. 

New Equipment
During the first quarter of this year we have seen some major changes in the equipment used to power Agility SaaS.  We have replaced our production database server in our San Jose data center with a newer larger server.  This server will allow Agility SaaS to continue to grow as you grow and to more easily handle your data needs.

Secondly, we have implemented 2 new dedicated email servers to handle all of the email generated by our user base. This grants us larger scalability to handle those peak times when emailing is critical.

Finally, we have implemented a dedicated backup device for our servers. While these new devices will allow us to continue to ensure a reliable service, they add more flexibility on our tape backup procedures with minimal disruption.

Uptime
Since the beginning of the year, Agility SaaS has maintained an Uptime Average of 99.9932%.  Although DMSi strives to prevent any outage from occurring ; in the event an outage does occur, DMSi fully analyzes the situation to reduce the impact to users.

Upcoming Features
The following projects are projects that are currently being researched and/or implemented.  The exact specifics of each project may change but the following will give you an idea of the direction we are pursuing.

Data Center Redundancy –
Each data center has various levels of redundancy that help ensure that everything in the specific data center is as robust as possible. In an effort to ensure your data is protected as much as possible, we are looking at having our database servers replicate your database to another database server in another data center on a real time basis.  We have begun testing this possibility to understand how feasible this is and exactly how much further protection that this provides us.

Email settings –
Currently we are rolling out a new script that will automatically save off your Outlook Express email settings from one server and load them on to other servers as you log into another server in our farm.   Thus taking this setup of this information for each user from once per each server to just a onetime event.  We are in the final implementation stages of this and notify you when it is fully operational.
