Agility v3.1.1 Modifications Designed to Increase
Customer Business Efficiencies

In order to help customers prepare for future software enhancements, DMSi is providing a summary of modifications in Agility v3.1.1. The release will be available to customers by mid-July 2008. See how the following features can help your business become more efficient today.

Allocate Header Level Charges/Costs to Detail Lines lets you define header level customer charges and order costs that are allocated to the shipment detail level at invoicing. For charges/costs that affect gross margins, this modification allows you to determine and easily review the impact of header level customer charges and order costs on detail level gross margins for commission and sales reporting purposes.

Item Maintenance Import adds the ability to easily import a spreadsheet or comma separated file for item records added, updated, and deleted in Agility. This simplifies the process of importing items during conversion and adding new items into inventory.

Sales Analysis Information for all Sales Agents allows sales analysis reporting for any of the sales agents on a given order. Sales data, including standard Agility reports and BInformed, can now be analyzed for a given Sales Agent ID (regardless of Sales Agent position) or by Agent Position (regardless of Sales Agent assigned to that position).

Adding Complimentary Items to a Sales Order lets you enter settings to prompt the user during order entry with a list of complimentary items associated with the saved item that they could recommend such as nails, touch-up paint/stain, roofing tar, screens, grilles, etc. When utilized, the Specify Items to Order window displays upon save of an item on a sales order or quote containing a listing of the associated items based on attributes of the original item and the associated items.

Apply Cash Based on Last Statement allows you to select all invoices and credit memos from your customer’s last statement when applying cash. It sets a flag at the end of the month to determine which invoices have been paid.
