DMSi Proactive Solutions Initiative Announced

DMSi Software recently announced the creation of the Proactive Solutions Group (PSG), an entirely new initiative aimed at reaching out to customers to help meet their unique needs and improve software utilization. The Proactive Solutions Group is positioned to help customers maximize business performance by proactively tuning-in to their individual business plans and issues. For over 30 years, DMSi has been the leading business management solution for distributors of building material and forest products; and PSG is expected to greatly enhance its already unparalleled levels of customer service.

“We won’t be satisfied with the services provided customers until all are achieving every possible benefit from their DMSi partnership,” according to Cal German, DMSi President. “Our mission is to direct every ounce of DMSi’s energy toward helping customers achieve the highest levels of efficiency and profitability.”

The DMSi Proactive Solutions Group will assume responsibility for existing Line of Business (LOB) teams, Professional and Account Executive Services, Custom Care +, account reviews, and legacy product to Agility Conversion Services.

Six Line of Business (LOB) teams are comprised of specialists from each department at DMSi and provide guidance for improving industry specific support and software. “By focusing on specific LOBs, DMSi is proactively tailoring the software and services to meet our customers’ needs on a more granular basis,” explains Trent Paben, DMSi Proactive Solutions Manager. Through industry specific focus and communication, the LOB teams help customers achieve improved efficiency and profitability and keep DMSi’s software and service enhancements relevant.

Professional and Account Executive Services include general business consulting and company specific guidance to assure that software and improvements are effectively implemented and utilized for best results. Custom Care+ planning sessions are designed to be unique to each customer focusing on their specific direction and initiatives and ways DMSi can help as a partner. Agility Conversion Services help customers using DMSi’s older character based solutions through the process of planning and timing their transition to the new Agility graphical environment.

The Proactive Solutions team is committed to coordinating and promoting our customers’ priorities within DMSi. Through strong partnerships, DMSi’s aim is to help customers constantly improve efficiency and maximum profitability.
