DMSi Welcomes BKP Inc. As Newest Customer

Omaha, NE – BKP Inc./Pritchard's Fireplace Store of Ellijay, GA, is among DMSi software’s newest Agility customers. A drywall distributor and member of AMAROK, BKP is led by owners Brian and Lisa Pritchard. With three locations in Georgia and one in North Carolina, BKP offers material sales of drywall, insulation, acoustical, icynene, fireplaces, EIFS, and metal framing. Their installed sales include icynene, insulation, and fireplaces.

The addition of multiple branches prompted BKP to begin looking for a new software system. Lisa Pritchard, explains, “We were at a point that we could only get so far with our current tools.” BKP researched DMSi, an AMAROK preferred vendor, and received positive feedback from current AMAROK members using DMSi software. Because DMSi was a preferred AMAROK vendor, BKP was confident that they would be treated well. Additionally, Agility’s benefits far outweighed other systems and offered solutions to make their business more efficient.

With Agility, BKP can support multiple branches by viewing current inventory and margins. Running on Agility’s Software as a Service (SaaS) model allows BKP to eliminate waste and cut costs by outsourcing the complexity of managing server and communication hardware, software, updates, and backups. The flexibility of SaaS gives BKP the ability to run Agility with a PC and reliable Internet connection from anywhere in the world. “We are able to provide better customer service by giving our sales staff the most recent information, no matter where they are,” says Pritchard.

Since purchasing Agility, BKP's experience with DMSi has been extremely positive. “If someone told me that the (DMSi) employees I’ve worked with were the owners, I would believe it,” describes Pritchard.
