DMSi Welcomes Vanoak Trim As Newest Agility Customer

Omaha, NE – DMSi software would like to welcome Vanoak Trim as its newest Agility customer. Located in Loveland, Colorado, Vanoak Trim has been selling moulding, interior trim, doors, and hardware to builders for 17 years. The millwork company selected DMSi to streamline their business processes and tighten inventory control.

Previously, Vanoak Trim was tracking information in four different software systems; entering accounts payable, accounts receivable, quotes, and purchase orders multiple times. Agility software will allow Vanoak Trim to effectively manage their business on one system. “Everyone had their own way of doing things,” said Dave Munkres, Vanoak Trim estimator. “By implementing Agility’s best practices, we can ensure that information is being entered accurately.”

Running several software systems on one server caused frequent, unexpected crashes; leaving employees to manually process orders. With Agility’s Software as a Service (SaaS) model, Vanoak Trim eliminates waste and cut costs by outsourcing the complexity of managing server and communication hardware, software, updates, and backups. “We maxed out our current server’s capabilities,” explains Branden Vandenburg, Vanoak Trim purchasing manager. “With a PC and strong Internet connection we can confidently run Agility SaaS without the hassle of a local server.”
