DMSi’s Line of Business Initiative Goes Online
In order to create a platform for sharing unique line of business (LOB) issues within the building material’s industry, each of DMSi’s lines of business plan to post bulletin blogs, news, and success stories on the website. Thus, industry links to the www.dmsi.com website from DMSi’s Customer Focus Newsletter are now available. This information can be found at the top left-hand corner of the LOB industry page.
This website addition supports DMSi’s Line of Business Initiative which was designed to create more proactive communication to customers for increased software utilization and service satisfaction. The LOB initiative is a cohesive approach to guiding new Agility Development around a given LOB to maximize overall software effectiveness.
Website industry notes feature up-to-date, LOB specific information on such topics as: software best practices, upcoming events, new functionality, industry conditions, new customers, and recent go lives. The building material LOBs featured on the site include hardwood lumber, softwood lumber, millwork, pro dealer, laminate, drywall, roofing & siding, EWP, truss/pallet, and other building materials. This periodic overview of the software and specific applications to various LOBs helps ensure DMSi is providing customers with top-notch knowledge to support trends and changes in the industry. Along with the notes, news and success stories share valuable line of business information with prospects and customers to help run their business more effectively.
According to Kerry Blusys, Manager of Professional Services, “The LOB initiative gets many people from many areas, including development and customer services, working together to understand our customer’s needs and wants. Though this proactive approach, DMSi is able to better tailor Agility to the specific needs of our customers. ” With a targeted focus on the main lines of business within DMSi, the initiative plans to offer regular LOB specific training, improve customer communication, and tie into the CC+ customer review process. This more streamlined approach promises to improve Agility’s effectiveness from a development and customer software utilization standpoint.
