Ohio’s Leading Building Material Distributor, Interior Supply, Chooses DMSi’s Agility SaaS to Stay up With Technology

Interior Supply, one of Ohio’s largest suppliers of building material and a DMSi customer since 2001, chose to implement Agility to operate its seven locations throughout Ohio. The company distributes various interior building products including Armstrong acoustical ceiling tiles, drywall, metal studs, commercial doors, and other associated items. The level of functionality and support received while operating on DMSi’s legacy DMS+ software was a big motivating factor in deciding to move forward with Agility. “The support we’ve received from DMSi over the years was one of the big reasons for moving to Agility,” Interior Supply’s CFO Whit Luce said.

Located in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, Wholesale Builders Supply chose Agility because of its industry-specific features. "Our old software really wasn't geared towards our business. It did its job, but we were really impressed when we saw what Agility could do and that it was geared toward our industry," Rick Darnley, purchasing manager for Wholesale Builders Supply said.

“Munix was very antiquated, “Condrey said. “It was unix based and not point and click. It was character driven and you had to know the code to get anything done.”
