First Warehouse Educational Session Proves Successful

On January 16, 2008, over 20 DMSi customers attended DMSi Productivity Solutions team’s first educational session, ‘Getting the Most Out of Your Warehouse’. This informative session educated attendees on how their companies could increase warehouse operation profitability. As the first in a three-part educational series, DMSi shared first-hand knowledge of the “ins and outs” of building material distribution warehouse management; and the tried and true methods proven to significantly contribute to our customer’s bottom line. Attendance to these web sessions is free, and upcoming topics include: Wireless Technology in the Warehouse and One-On-One Consulting.

Some of the positive feedback from the first session, included:

“Now I realize that inventory accuracy is what drives the organization positively or negatively.”

“We now understand that an important part of improving accuracy is defining warehouse locations.”

“Through this session, we gained some good ideas to present to our vendors and make our warehouse more efficient.”

Customers are encouraged to attend the next educational session on Tuesday, February 12th at 10:00 CST. This session will focus on wireless warehousing solutions, as well as logistics solutions for delivery and dispatch. These sessions are educational and designed to increase awareness of the possibilities in technology.

Initial session attendees are already enrolled for this second session and the connectivity information will be sent a few days prior. If you did not sign up to attend the first session, you can still enroll in subsequent sessions. The ‘Getting the Most Out of Your Warehouse’ web session is also available in a recorded version. The presentation is divided into three parts to allow users to watch smaller segments at their convenience.
