Kel Mel Supply Company Completes Agility Implementation

Omaha, NE – A millwork distributor in Orland Park, IL since 1973; Kel Mel Supply Company recently went live on DMSi’s Agility software. Agility’s custom millwork industry tools, including CAFÉ logic and window and door interfaces, help Kel Mel Supply manage their inventory with effective reporting, custom viewers, and production scheduling features.

Using CAFÉ logic, Agility’s millwork specific functionality, Kel Mel Supply easily sets up and orders complex configured units for their door shop. Simple maintenance for product line changes, a fast learning curve for new personnel, and the virtual elimination of configuration errors ensures a smoothly run business. “In CAFÉ we can enter pre-hung doors as units, opposed to entering each individual part,” says Matt Slowiak, Kel Mel Supply system administrator. “In our previous system, we had to memorize part numbers. This often resulted in order entry errors and manual price adjustments.”

Kel Mel Supply conveniently saves time, eliminates errors, and increases efficiency with Agility’s Marvin Windows and Doors interface. “We no longer have to double enter inventory and delivery information for our Marvin products,” explains Slowiak. From the manufacturer’s system, the interface intuitively transfers information directly into Agility giving Kel Mel Supply access to all order information.
