DMSi Signs 41 New Companies in 2006
Omaha, NE - In 2006,
DMSi added a record 41 new companies to
implement its Agility software. Agility is
DMSi's new Windows-based solution designed
specifically to meet the core business needs of
building material distributors and
wholesalers/remanufacturers of forest products.
This brings DMSi's total customer count to 371,
including 163 on the Agility platform.
DMSi President Cal German credits DMSi’s success to an unrelenting commitment to customer service excellence and the growing momentum of Agility. “Agility achieved the largest market share among new customers in 2006,” states German. “This is a clear indicator that DMSi’s products and services do, in fact, deliver on our goal of improved asset management, streamlined, leaner business processes, and improved customer service for the building and forest product customers we serve.”
In addition to 41 new Agility customers in 2006, nine conversions were made from legacy DMSi software products to Agility.

LLC, Great Northern Lumber, Heppner Hardwoods Inc., and Midwest Hardwood Corporation; Lumber Remanufacturer- Lincoln Lumber Company Inc.; Lumber Wholesalers- Gemini Forest Products, Herms Lumber Sales Inc., Klumb Lumber, Matrix Forest Products Inc., Norman Distribution Inc., and Tex-O-Cal Hardwoods, Inc.; Millwork Distributors- Boulder Door & Millwork LLC, Brother Sun, Holmes Lumber & Building Center Inc., Nick’s Building Supply Inc., Northwest Millwork Company, Pacific Coast Door and Moulding Inc., Plywood Inc., Quality Trim & Door Inc., and Spence Interior Trim; Roofing/Siding Distributors- Ford Wholesale Co. Inc., Louis T. Ollesheimer & Son Inc., Presta Contractor Supply, Reese Central Wholesale, Roofers Supply Inc., Roofing Supply Group LLC, and Superior Distribution Company; and Truss/Wall Panel Manufacturer- PanelTek of North Florida Inc.
The following companies have either completed or begun the process of converting to Agility in 2006: Hardwood Lumber Distributor- Mount Storm Forest Products; Laminates- DPI Incorporated; Lumber Wholesalers- Atlantic Forest Products LLC, Cedar Creek Wholesale, Conex Forest Products, Klumb Lumber Company; and Roofing/Siding Distributors- Roofing Supply Group LLC, Sellmore Industries Inc. and Wilson Wholesale Supply.
