PartnerConnect! Proves Huge Success for Customers and DMSi Employees
With a return to the more intimate setting of Embassy Suites; DMSi customers gathered for PartnerConnect!11 on October 12-14 to make powerful connections with new ideas, each other, and employees of DMSi. This conference gave the 400 customers scattered across North America the opportunity to meet face to face with their peers in the industry and DMSi staff to identify ways to use Agility to improve business processes. Based on DMSi Software’s survey, over 98% of the customers attending ranked PartnerConnect!11 conference satisfying.
“One of the advantages DMSi brings to the table is having all of our resources under one roof, which creates an incredibly powerful and effective environment for developing software and providing customer support,” said Cal German, DMSi President. “The PartnerConnect! conference is an opportunity to connect customers with their industry peers and our folks and to identify ways to help them run better.”
DMSi’s employees similarly felt the conference was satisfying and helped improve understanding of the clients they serve. “As in past years, the most successful part of PartnerConnect is the ability of our customers to network with each other as well as with the staff from DMSI. A lot of learning and knowledge sharing happens as a result of this networking,” added Jim Hassenstab, CEO. “It is very helpful to put a face to a name when it comes to our customers and to hear directly from them the problem areas in their business that we may be able to help them with.”
The general business mood of the conference was positive and companies were looking towards future technology developments to bring greater profitability to their business. “The free-fall has stopped and customers have found what feels like stable footing. The footing may be quite a ways down the hill from where they started but there is a sense of confidence that things won’t get any worse and will probably improve,” German explained. “As a result, customers are revisiting opportunities to invest in technologies and business processes. This will allow the immanent future growth to occur without the need to add as many people back into the equation. When the housing recovery begins, it will be highly profitable for these forward thinking customers.”
