Installed Sales Moves into Wide Release

DMSi has moved Installed Sales, the new project management module in Agility, out of beta testing and into active use.  

Installed Sales is a comprehensive tool for dealers who perform installation or service work as part of their business model. It lets dealers create a project that ties everything together related to an installation. Quotes, sales orders, and even credit memos can be linked to the project. Tasks can be created, labor scheduled, and related project documents and photos stored.  

Upon opening Installed Sales from the SALES ORDERS/QUOTES MENU, real-time metrics (like the percentage of projects completed on schedule) appear in the dashboard, giving the user a useful project snapshot.  

The module is available to all hosted Agility customers. Because it can be accessed from any device with a web browser, users can obtain and update information from the field. This feature is useful to projects where physical on-site visits are necessary to complete tasks. Anyone with a smart device can use Installed Sales in the field, with input data reflected in Agility in real time.  

“It’s a big value-add for Agility,” said Cindy McCarville, Senior Account Manager at DMSi. “Many of our customers install products or manage service crews and this will allow them to track everything right in Agility.  There are often a lot of tasks and moving parts that must be coordinated to ensure the job progresses on schedule.  It’s a streamlined process to handle the complexity inherent to installed sales projects.”  

Installed Sales is now readily available as part of the Agility platform.
